Just tap and hold the bait, then swipe it over to your rod. Your rod needs to be at least Fiberglass to use bait and Iridium for tackles. Super simple!
In Stardew Valley mobile, you can't actually attach a 'hook' to your fishing rod like in some fishing games. You automatically get a hook when you cast your line. However, to use tackle or bait, first, make sure you've upgraded your fishing rod to either the Fiberglass Rod or the Iridium Rod. Then, open your inventory, tap and hold the bait or tackle, and then tap your rod to apply it. Happy fishing!
yo, you don't really put a 'hook' on it. Just make sure ur rod is good enough (Fiberglass or better) and then slap on some bait or tackle from your bag to it. can't do it with the basic rod tho.
