Quitting a mission in GTA 5 on PS4? Easy peasy. Just press and hold down the down D-pad button to open up the Quick Menu. Then, navigate to 'Quit Mission' and select it. Voila! You've officially ditched whatever dastardly deed you were up to.

Just fail the mission on purpose lol. If you mess up enough, the game will give you the option to skip or exit the mission. Sometimes it's easier than trying to find the menu option.
