To spot a first edition Pokemon card, look for the 'Edition 1' logo. It's a small, round symbol located typically on the left side, just below the Pokemon's picture. This logo looks like a circled '1' and is the tell-tale sign of a first edition. Also, don't forget to check the card's condition and authenticity, since first editions are highly sought after!

Simply, look for the '1' symbol in a circle near the bottom left of the card's image. If it's there, congrats, you've got a first edition!

Honestly, most people make too big a deal out of this. Just enjoy the cards, first edition or not!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
