Win + G and then click on the record button. Boom, you're recording!

Simply press Win + G to open the Xbox Game Bar, then click the Capture button (it looks like a little camera) and hit 'Start Recording' or use the shortcut Win + Alt + R.

From my experience, press Windows + G to open Game Bar, then use Win + Alt + R to start or stop recording. Super handy!
