To recover an old Fallout Shelter save, first, check if you've synced your game with cloud storage, like Google Play Games or Apple's Game Center. If you did, simply re-installing the game and logging into the same account should bring back your old vault. If not, you might need to dive into your device's file system. Look for the 'Vault1.sav' file in the 'Documents' folder inside the 'FalloutShelter' folder on your device. If you find it, you can manually back it up or transfer it to another device. Remember, always back up your saves!

I lost my vault once and thought it was gone for good. Then I remembered I had it backed up on Google Play. Logged in, and boom, all my dwellers were back from the wasteland. Always sync your game!

Just use the cloud, dude. If you didn't, RIP your vault.

If you're a Fallout Shelter player looking for extra caps or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Fallout Shelter essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
