Try checking Facebook's 'Download Your Information' feature. You can request a copy of your data from Facebook settings, but no guarantees the deleted messages will be there.
From personal experience, I learned to archive instead of delete! But yeah, once deleted, poof, they're gone. Better luck next time!
If you really need those messages, you might be out of luck. Once deleted, Facebook doesn't offer a way to recover them.
