Just go into the avatar customizer, select the clothing tab, and click on 'None' to remove the item. Done and done!

Easy peasy! Just open the avatar editor by clicking the shirt icon on the right side of the screen. From there, click on the clothing item you want to remove and voila, you're back to basics!
