How to Remove Paint from Hot Wheels Without Paint Remover
Okay, so you wanna strip that paint off your Hot Wheels but no paint remover? No prob! Grab some rubbing alcohol or acetone (nail polish remover works too). Just soak the car in it for a bit, and then gently scrub with an old toothbrush. Paint should come right off. Remember to do this in a well-ventilated area 'cause those fumes are no joke.

Honestly, just leave the paint on. It's a Hot Wheel, not the Mona Lisa. Plus, you risk damaging the little car.
So, tried the acetone method on one of my old Hot Wheels. Worked like a charm! Just be super careful with it, gloves and in a ventilated space. Took the paint off without damaging the car underneath.
Here's a trick I tried: use baking soda and water to make a paste. It's gentle and works slowly but does the job for minor scratches and scuffs. Won't strip a whole car like acetone, but it's safe and easy.
