Just remove it! Go to Messages > App Store icon > More (...), swipe left on Words with Friends, hit 'Delete.' Easy peasy.

To remove Words with Friends from iMessage, open the Messages app, tap the App Store icon, scroll to the right, tap 'More,' then swipe left on Words with Friends and tap 'Delete.' Boom, it's gone!
