How to rename a beacon in Subnautica?

Just swim up to it, click on the beacon with the use button (Default: Right Mouse Button), and you’ll see the option to rename it!

Open the Beacon Manager in your PDA, then just click on the beacon’s name to edit it. Easy peasy!

You can't rename beacons. Just kidding, yes you can! Use the PDA Beacon Manager or interact with it in the ocean.

I've spent hours on this—just swim up to the beacon, interact with it using the right mouse button, and a text box will pop up for renaming.
