How to Research Items in Terraria on Console
So, you wanna be a Terraria research guru on console, eh? First things first, make sure you're in Journey mode because that's where the research magic happens. In this mode, open your inventory, and you'll spot a little magnifying glass icon. Click on that bad boy, and it'll show you the research interface. From there, you can select items in your inventory to research. Keep in mind, you'll need a specific number of each item to complete the research, but once you do, you can duplicate it forever. Honestly, I just tried this and it's a game changer. Was playing in Journey mode, followed the steps for research, and now I'm duplicating items like there's no tomorrow. Makes building and experimenting so much more fun.
Just a heads up, research is a Journey mode exclusive feature. So if you're playing on any other mode, you're outta luck for research. Switch to Journey mode and let the item duplicating begin!
