The only true reset is chucking it out the window and buying a new one. Just kidding, follow the steps in System Settings!

From the Main Menu, go to 'My Xbox,' then 'System Settings.' Select 'Initial Setup.' This will reset all system settings back to factory defaults.

Go to System Settings > Console Settings > System Info > Write down the serial number. Then go to Storage > Clear System Cache > Format your hard drive. Finally, go back to System Info and input the serial number.

Settings > System > Storage > Clear Cache, then format the hard drive. Use the serial number to confirm.

Navigate to 'System Settings' from the dashboard, select 'Console Settings,' then 'System Info.' Note the serial number, then go to 'Storage,' clear the system cache, and choose 'Format.' Enter the serial number to confirm.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
