What I did was first restore my Google Drive backup to an Android phone. Then I used software like 'Move to iOS' or 'PhoneTrans' to get the data onto my iPhone. Worked like a charm!
It's kinda tricky. Backup on Android, restore there, then use a tool (like Dr.Fone or AnyTrans) to move it to your iPhone.
