To retreat in Total War: Warhammer, select your army and click the 'Withdraw' button on the unit card during battle. Be quick or your forces might get wiped out!

Just hit the 'Withdraw' button on the unit card during battle. Your troops will flee the field ASAP. It's as simple as that!

Retreating is easy. Click the 'Withdraw' button on the unit card during a battle, and your troops will start pulling back immediately.
