From my experience, daily backups saved me a few times. Always keep backups on, just in case!
Check your Google Drive or iCloud for backups of your WhatsApp chats. If available, reinstall WhatsApp and follow the prompts to restore from your cloud backup.
No backup, no luck. Unfortunately, without a backup, you can't retrieve cleared messages.
