Just crank up the pressure on the saltier side and force water through a membrane. Boom, reversed!

We used reverse osmosis in our lab to purify water; trust me, it works if you apply enough pressure to the salty side!

You do it by applying external pressure to force water molecules from the high solute concentration side to the low solute concentration side through a semi-permeable membrane. Basically, you鈥檙e flipping the script on osmosis!

Reverse osmosis? Just hit it with high pressure on the concentrated side and watch the water scoot to the other side.

To reverse osmosis, you need to apply pressure to the side with higher solute concentration, pushing water through a semi-permeable membrane to the side with lower solute concentration. It鈥檚 like persuading water to go against its natural instinct!
