Hold down the 'Shift' key while moving! It's like the universal gaming button for running. Just press and hold 'Shift' as you use the arrow keys or WASD to move your character around the farm. It’s a simple trick, but it gets you from your cozy farmhouse to the farthest reaches of your crops in no time!

To run in Stardew Valley on PC, just keep the 'Shift' key pressed down. No fancy tricks, no secret codes. Just good ol' 'Shift' and you're off to the races (well, the quaint country sprint, but you get the idea).

Actually, you don't need to hold down 'Shift' to run in Stardew Valley. Your character already moves at running speed by default. 'Shift' actually makes you walk if you need to slow down for any reason. So, if you feel the need for speed, just let go of that 'Shift'!

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
