You can't technically 'save' a fruit for later use in Blox Fruits. If you find a fruit and don't want to use it immediately, you can either store it in your inventory or give it to an NPC called the Fruit Storage Dealer, but you'll need a Game Pass for that.
Just eat it or trade it. Don't overthink it!
