Saving snaps is fine but just remember, if you screenshot someone else's snap, they'll be notified. Be sneaky or be honest; your call.

To save your own Snaps before sending, just tap the download icon at the bottom-left. For snaps you receive, press and hold on the snap, then choose 'Save in Chat' or screenshot it (only if you're okay with the sender knowing!).

I always save snaps by pressing the download button before sending them. For friends' snaps, I ask them to send it to me as a photo.
