How to save the game in GTA San Andreas
Saving in GTA San Andreas is pretty simple. Just head over to CJ's house (or any safe house you've unlocked), and walk into the floating diskette icon. This will bring up the save menu. Pick a slot, and bam - game saved! Remember, saving not only keeps your progress but also advances game time by 6 hours.

Hot take: Why save when you can live on the edge? Just kidding, always save your game at a safe house unless you like redoing missions.
From experience, ALWAYS save before starting a new mission. I can't count the times I've regretted not saving and then getting busted or wasted half-way through a tough mission. Find those floppy disk icons at safe houses, and make it a habit.
