I use Steam’s built-in FPS counter! Just go to Steam settings, select 'In-Game,' and turn on the FPS counter. Easy peasy!

If you’re on a newer Windows version, Xbox Game Bar can display FPS. Press Win + G, go to the Performance tab, and enable FPS.
