Just press F3 to open the debug menu, then press F8 to release the mouse cursor. Check the 'show FPS' option. Easy peasy!

What's FPS? Just kidding. Use F3 and F8, or if you're on Steam, enable the in-game FPS counter in the settings.

You can use Steam鈥檚 built-in FPS counter if you鈥檙e playing Subnautica on Steam. Go to Steam settings -> In-Game -> In-Game FPS Counter.

I used NVIDIA GeForce Experience overlay to show FPS. Just press Alt+Z and then turn on the performance overlay.

...you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

This includes gift cards from all your favorite brands, like Amazon, Starbucks, Apple, Roblox, and many, many more!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
