First, download and install SteamCMD, then use it to install the Valheim dedicated server. After that, configure the server's settings in the 'start_headless_server.bat' file - just remember to set a unique name, world, and password!

I'm running a Valheim server for me and my friends, and it was pretty straightforward. Use SteamCMD to install the server, adjust the settings in the 'start_headless_server.bat' file, and don't forget to port forward on your router.

Don't bother with a dedicated server. Just host the game from your own computer. It's easier and you don't have to mess with server settings.

Get yourself a hosting service that supports Valheim servers鈥攕aves a lot of time and headaches. Plus, they handle all the tech stuff.
