To set up game sharing on Xbox Series X, you and your friend need to set each other’s consoles as your 'Home Xbox.' Go to Settings > General > Personalization > My Home Xbox, and make sure to add the other person's account.

It's super easy! Add your friend’s account to your Xbox Series X and vice versa, then make sure you both set each other's console as 'Home Xbox' in the settings menu.

I did this with my buddy last week. Just add each other's profiles, go to Settings, and set as 'Home Xbox.' Now we can share all our games!
