Showing Mercy in Mortal Kombat requires you to press Down three times, then hold both Block and Throw buttons (L2 and R2 on PS4). Makes you feel like a benevolent fighter, right?

Don't bother with Mercy. Just go for the Fatality and end it! Who has time to be nice?

As someone who's been playing since '92, I can tell you showing Mercy feels great! Stand mid-range, hold down for two seconds, then press the run button. Your opponent will love you... kind of.

To show Mercy in Mortal Kombat, during the 'Finish Him/Her' screen, stand about mid-range from your opponent, hold the down button for two seconds, and then quickly press the run button. It's a classy move before you inevitably finish them off!

If you're a Mortal Kombat player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Mortal Kombat essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
