Actually, there's a kind of workaround but it's not straightforward. If you have a friend who has already completed the prologue, you can join their game session. This way, you technically 'skip' having to play through the prologue yourself. But officially? No dice on a skip button.
Nope, can't skip it. Just play through it, it's not that long and sets up the game nicely.
