To slide in MLB The Show 24, hold the left stick in the desired direction and press R1 (right shoulder button) for a head-first slide or R2 (right trigger) for a feet-first slide. Timing is key, so hit those buttons a bit before you reach the base!

Double-tap the left stick towards the base and hit R1 for a head-first dive, or R2 for a feet-first slide. Just make sure you slide in the right direction!

Just press R1 or R2 while running towards the base. Easy peasy!

I prefer holding down the left stick and pressing the R shoulder buttons for my slides. It's got me safe more times than I can count!

If you're a MLB The Show Companion App player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in MLB The Show Companion App essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
