Spawning a sandstorm in Terraria isn't as straightforward as clicking a button. You can't directly spawn one on demand because it's a weather event that happens randomly. However, you can increase your chances by spending lots of time in the desert biome. The more time you spend there, the higher your chances of experiencing a sandstorm. Also, make sure you're playing in a world that's in Hardmode, as sandstorms are more likely to occur then!

Short and sweet - you can't spawn a sandstorm yourself in Terraria. It's a waiting game, so pack some patience!

I managed to 'spawn' a sandstorm by basically living in the desert biome for ages. Not sure if it was luck or if the game finally took pity on me, but hey, it happened! The key seems to be time and patience, especially during Hardmode.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
