Spawning the World Eater, or as it's officially known, the Eater of Worlds, is pretty straightforward if you're in a Corruption biome. Break three Shadow Orbs found in the chasms of the Corruption using a hammer or explosives. After the third one breaks, the Eater of Worlds will show up, ready to challenge you. Be ready for a fight! Just remember, this only works in worlds with Corruption, not Crimson.

Easy mode: Worm Food. Craft it at a Demon/Crimson Altar with 30 Vile Powder (from Vile Mushrooms) and 15 Rotten Chunks (dropped by Corrupt enemies). Use it in the Corruption, and bam, instant Eater of Worlds party.

TBH just breaking Shadow Orbs feels like a hassle. Make some Worm Food and summon it wherever in the Corruption. Less time running around those annoying chasms.
