First, you gotta make sure you're invited to the room. Once you're in, you'll see a 'Spectate' option at the bottom.

Just join the room like you normally would, then select the Spectator slot before the game starts.

Ask the room creator to check the Spectator option when setting up the room. Otherwise, spectating won't be allowed.

If you鈥檙e in a tournament or custom match with spectating enabled, join the room and choose the 'Spectator' option.

You can't just pop into any room and spectate. Usually, the room host has to enable spectating.
