How to split items in Terraria on Switch

Just hit ZL. That's literally it.
Honestly, I had this issue for the longest time until I accidentally figured it out during a play session. You'd think it'd be more complicated, but nope, just press ZL while holding the item. Makes trading with friends so much easier now!
