Sorry to break it to you, but Apex Legends doesn't support split screen on PS4 or any other platform. You gotta take turns or get another setup to squad up together!

Actually tried looking for this with my buddy once, dreaming of couch co-op Apex Legends style. Turns out, it's a no-go. No split screen means solo play only, or as the game intends, online squad action but on separate consoles.
