Sorry to break it to ya, but there's no actual 'sprint' button in Stardew Valley. Your character moves at a set speed. However, you can boost your walking speed by riding a horse, consuming coffee or spicy eel, and using the Stable's horse or the skull cavern's minecarts for faster travel.
