To stop those pesky videos from auto-playing on Facebook, just go to 'Settings & Privacy', click on 'Settings', then 'Videos' in the sidebar, and select 'Off' under 'Auto-Play Videos'. Easy peasy!

Why would anyone even want to stop auto-play? It makes Facebook more lively and interactive!
I've been through this too. Just head to your Facebook settings under the 'Media and Contacts' tab and set 'Autoplay' to 'Never Autoplay Videos'. Worked like a charm for me!
Open your Facebook app and tap on the three horizontal lines to go to 'Settings & Privacy'. Then, under 'Settings', find 'Media' and set 'Videos in News Feed' to 'Never Autoplay Videos'. Bye-bye, auto-play!
