You gotta burn it out with a Witch Hunter or a Vampire Hunter. Their cleansing abilities will save your empire from the taint!
Personal experience here – I found that stacking untainted heroes in the most corrupted area significantly accelerates the cleansing process. Also, buildings that reduce corruption help immensely over time. Good luck!
My favorite way to fight Chaos corruption is to use buildings and heroes with the untainted attribute. So, build some shrines and enlist those witch hunters!
