Don't bother, let it spread. Makes the game more fun and challenging. Who doesn't want their world to look like a horror movie set?

Honestly, just use the Clentaminator. It's basically the in-game equivalent of using a firehose to clean your driveway, but for demon-infested crimson spread.

I literally surrounded my base with Hallow. Crimson can't spread through Hallow, so it's like fighting fire with... sparkly rainbow fire?

Stopping the Crimson in Terraria's hardmode is all about strategic landscaping! First, create a buffer zone at least 6 blocks wide around the Crimson area - this can be empty space or filled with non-corruptible blocks like Clay or Stone. Sunflowers won't stop the spread in hardmode, so don't rely on those. If you're feeling flush, buy the Clentaminator from the Steampunker NPC and use it with Green Solution to cleanse large areas quickly. And remember, Crimstone and Crimsand can spread the Crimson, so replace or contain these blocks!

just dig a BIG trench around it, like REALLY big and make sure it's at least 6 blocks wide. nothing fancy, works every time.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
