Super easy! Just plug in your controller, go to the 'Options' menu, select 'Controls,' then choose 'Gamepad' from the control setup.

I switched to a PS4 controller and it was a smoother experience for flying planes! Just hit up Options > Controls > Control Setup and you're good to go.
