Switching accounts can be a bit tricky if you've linked your accounts to a social club. Make sure you unlink any account you're not planning to use from the Rockstar Social Club to avoid any confusion. Personal experience - forgot to unlink and spent hours figuring out why I couldn't switch smoothly.
