Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but once you start a vault in Survival mode in Fallout Shelter, there's no turning back. You can't switch it back to normal mode. Survival mode locks in the difficulty level for that vault permanently. If it's too tough, you might have to start a new vault if you're looking for an easier experience.

No can do, buddy. Survival mode is like choosing hard mode in life, no backsies. If you're struggling, it might be time to flex those strategy muscles a bit more, or just start fresh with a new vault in normal mode.

Tried switching from survival to normal. No dice. Looks like we're in this together. Time to double down on those survival strategies.

If you're a Fallout Shelter player looking for extra caps or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Fallout Shelter essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
