Oh, hiding from the cops or just trying to stay alive? To take cover in GTA 5 on your PS5, press the R1 button. Your character will smartly hug the nearest wall, car, or whatever else can save you from a hail of bullets. Just make sure you're close enough to the object you want to use as cover!
