You can only pull hay from the silo if you already have animals. No animals, no hay coming out. It's Stardew's way of telling you it's time to start your virtual farm life.

Easy! Just walk up to your silo, then find your way to the feed trough inside your coop or barn. Right-click or tap on the feed trough (depending on your platform), and voila, hay will automatically transfer from the silo to your feed trough. Make sure you've got animals in there hungry for it, though, or you won't be able to take the hay out.

Actually, you don't 'take' hay from the silo directly. It's all about the animal feed system in the game. As long as you've got the silo stocked and a coop or barn, feeding is pretty much automatic when you interact with the trough.

No need to make it complicated. Just get animals, hit the trough. Hay comes out. Stardew Valley 101.

If you're a Stardew Valley player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
