Talking to people in Terraria is pretty straightforward if you're playing online. Just hit Enter to bring up the chat window, type your message, and hit Enter again to send it. Keep your messages short and sweet or risk the wrath of fast-moving gameplay!

Honestly, talking in Terraria isn't the best. Just use Discord or something. Game chat feels like yelling into the void sometimes.
