Easiest way? If it's got a lil' '1' in a circle, that's a first edition. No symbol? Probably not first edition. Also, look out for set symbols - they're your best clue!

To figure out the edition of a Pokemon card, look for symbols near the bottom right corner of the card. First editions will have a '1' inside a circle, while unlimited editions won't have this symbol. Also, check for set symbols which can vary from set to set, and holographic cards often indicate special editions or rarities.

Honestly, just flip the card over and look for any symbols or numbers at the bottom. The tiny details there are usually the giveaway on what edition you've got. Less hassle, more trading!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
