FYI, if you don't see a '2' symbol, you're not looking at a second edition card. Only the true second editions have that mark, so no '2', no second edition. Simple as that!

Telling the difference is actually easier than you might think! Look for a small '2' symbol right next to the card collection number at the bottom. Also, the original set symbol will be there, but that cheeky little '2' is your golden ticket to knowing it's a second edition.

Honestly, the whole hype around editions is overblown. Just enjoy the art and the game, who cares if it's first or second edition anyway?

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
