Honestly, chasing shadowless cards is a bit overrated. They're cool and all, but there's so much more to the Pokemon TCG than just those early print runs. Don't get too caught up in it.

Oh, diving into the world of shadowless Pokemon cards, are we? Here's how you can spot them - look to the right side of the image box. If you don't see a shadow, congrats, you've got a shadowless card! These are from the early print runs of the base set and are super coveted by collectors for their rarity and nostalgia. Another quick tip: the '1st Edition' symbol. If it's missing, and your card is from the base set with no shadow, it's definitely shadowless. Happy hunting!

Easiest way to check? No shadow on the right side of the Pokemon picture. No shadow = shadowless. Simple as that.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
