How to Tell If Your Pokemon Cards Are Rare
DemonstratingUnit路6 months agoAnother quick tip: Some of the super rare cards are part of special sets or have unique artwork. If your card looks like nothing else out there or is part of a limited edition set, you might have hit the jackpot. Also, the card's condition and age can play a big part in its rarity and value, so older, mint condition cards are often more sought after.

First off, check the bottom right corner of your card. If you spot a little star, congratulations, you've got yourself a rare card! If there's a diamond, it's uncommon, and a circle means it's common. But don't stop there! Look for holographic finishes, as they often signify a rarer card. Also, cards with a 'EX', 'GX', or VMAX' are typically rarer and more powerful, so keep an eye out for those.
Rare? Just look for the shiny stuff, duh. Holographic = good. No shine, no dine.
Honestly, just play the game. The more you play, the more you'll start to recognize which cards are rare based on how often you see them in play. Sometimes, rarity isn't just about what's printed on the card but how it performs in the deck.
