It's all about the sun! As a rule of thumb, if the sun is to the north, you're south of the equator, and vice versa.

Road signs and vehicles can help. For example, drivers on the left side usually indicate you're in the Southern Hemisphere.

Look at the compass and check the sun's position! If it's in the northern part of the sky, you're in the Southern Hemisphere; if it's in the southern part, you're in the Northern Hemisphere.

If you're a GeoGuessr player looking for extra credit or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in GeoGuessr essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
