Just Google the card name and number, honestly. It's 2023, why make life harder?

Every card's got a little symbol somewhere - usually at the bottom. That's your clue. Different sets have different symbols. If you're not up for playing detective, there are sites that basically do the legwork for you. Type in what you see, and boom, mystery solved.

To figure out which deck your Pokemon cards belong to, you gotta check the bottom corner of the card. There's usually a small symbol or set name that's like a secret code for which set or deck it's from. It can be a bit like a treasure hunt, but once you get the hang of it, you'll be spotting those symbols like a pro. If you're still stumped, the internet is your best friend. There are loads of websites and forums where collectors and players share info about card sets and symbols. Happy hunting!

Actually, it's not always straightforward. Some promo cards or those from special editions don't fit neatly into the set-symbol system. For those, specific card databases online are your best shot. They catalog everything, even the oddballs.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
