Easy peasy! Just press Enter on your keyboard to open the chat box, type your message, and hit Enter again. Boom, you're communicating!
Honestly, it's kinda annoying. PC players can open the chat with Enter, but console players are left in the dark with no real text chat option.
I mostly stick to voice chat or use Discord when playing on console. Text chat on PC is straightforward with the Enter key.
