On PC, press the 'B' key to thank the bus driver. On consoles like PS4/PS5, Xbox, and Switch, press down on the D-Pad.

I always thank the bus driver by pressing 'B' on my PC, but my friend does it on their Switch by pressing the D-Pad down.
